"This was originally going to be a 4 color print, but Mama's Sauce suggested we use a transparent ink to get this down to 3 colors. The technique was perfectly executed on press, and it really was a great idea that utilized the medium of screen printing perfectly. The green you see is transparent, so it looks bright when overlaid on the cream, but looks nice and dark on the black paper.
