"My kids are HUGE fans of Batman the Animated Series (when I referred to it as a cartoon the other day, my 7-year-old son corrected me: "It's the Animated Series, Dad. It's not just a cartoon."), so I wanted to do a piece that they would enjoy. Their #1 requirement was that it prominently feature Two Face, and beyond that, they didn't much care.
Having watched the show during its original run, I certainly had my own favorite villains-- and I strongly believe that the best heroes are defined by their villains-- so I wanted to largely populate the composition with the caped crusader's colorful rogue's gallery.
