Calvin Brue Business Cards

Designer Kelly Thorn provided a marbled paper sheet, which is excluded from this budget range, which was cut down and glued to a French Paper sheet making it double thick, but also making each sheet unique. Each of the marbled sheets was different, which made each card different. An elegant and simple design from Kelly was foil stamped onto it. So simple with such striking results.

When we first started talking about Cavin's brand, a couple words that were important to him stuck out to me: Classic, simple, and unique. Since Calvin was going to be using these business cards pretty frequently, I wanted to find a simple way to make each card unique, so that every person that received one felt special. Calvin was super excited about the idea, but we were both unsure if we could actually produce it—Marbled paper is so heavy with history, but is unfortunately very light in weight—would it be able to withstand being slathered with gold foil? The pros at Mama's Sauce really worked their magic to make this concept a reality, and I don't know of another printer who would get as excited about a challenge as them. GO TEAM! -Kelly Thorn
