We worked very carefully with Josh to make sure that every detail would come out well, which included choking in the screen print artwork away from the frames, under-basing the colors, and breaking the frames into a few blind emboss passes in order to assure the most pop.

Description
From the Designer
"For the 25th anniversary of Arts Weekend, the College of Arts & Letters at Michigan State University wanted to provide their guests with a unique memento to remind them of their experience. Mackinac Island's Grand Hotel, the annual location for Arts Weekend, provides breathtaking views of the island, Lake Huron, and the Mackinac Bridge; the perfect scene to recreate. The print reinterprets a view outward from the Cupola Bar's distinct windows (blind embossed into the paper), towards the Mighty Mac during a quintessential Michigan sunset.
As the project evolved, it was clear screen printing was the ideal printing medium to turn this into a handmade piece of art (it is ARTS weekend after all). Having worked with Mama's Sauce in the past, we knew we needed to have their expertise and attention to detail to pull it off in the tight timeframe we had to work with." -Josh Morey
